Tattoo Alterations Are Trending

When Ink On Ink Off first started off we wanted to help create the trend of “tattoo alterations”. Knowing there are a lot of bad (or good tattoos) that people just don’t relate to anymore. Sure, there has always been the option to cover up tattoos but for a good cover up the tattoo must be darker, bolder, and larger than the previous tattoo. This just isn’t the best solution for most people. The brilliant aspect behind Ink On Ink Off is combining tattoo removal and tattooing. What some people don’t know is, with laser tattoo removal we can lighten tattoos. You don’t need to have 8+ treatments to get the desired results. We also are able to provide affordable packages for the whole process. We give clients the ability to work side by side with a tattoo artist and doctor to get the optimal results with the least amount of time, money, and pain! However, tattoo alterations don’t have to be a laser/tattoo combo, there are also a number of people just wanting to “freshen up” tattoos with some new ink and sharper lines. Here are a few clients who have helped spread the tattoo alterations trend!!

The original tattoo was the purple infinity sign with the circle. This was tattooed with her now abusive ex-husband. She wanted to keep the tattoo as a way to help others come forward from these terrible situations but also add the cherry blossoms to show a more positive side to her life.

The original tattoo (on left) was the faded purple and blue butterfly tattooed many years ago. It was time she said to update and add on to her arm! The red orange and yellow is the tattoo artist free hand drawing before the tattoo. Now her original 1 butterfly has 2 buddies!

When she came in there was a small symbol on her wrist. The plant is a piece of art done by her son. It was her favorite piece of his collection. Originally she wanted to keep the symbol apart of the tree but once they started the tree became all she wanted! Since this picture she has added on even more braches to the tattoo. This is a great unexpected cover up!

A classic “tramp stamp” tattoo regret in her early years had become a tattoo she was embarrassed to have on her. Now she is proud to show it off in her bikini!

This is a tattoo in process of being lightened for a cover up! She still loves the tattoo but had always wished the B looked different. She is working with our tattoo artist to find a beautiful B. (stay tuned)

When tattoos get older then tend to bleed. This client has his wife’s name in the upper ribbon but could hardly read it anymore. He is now ready to get her name redone after a few lightening sessions.
