The Next Generation of Laser Tattoo Removal Has Arrived
The DeScribe® PFD Patch Now Available at
Ink On Ink Off just announced that it is now offering the FDA-cleared DeScribe® PFD Patch. The Patch represents the most significant advance in tattoo removal since the Q-switched laser. In a recent clinical trial, patients reported not only less discomfort, but faster healing post-treatment with the DeScribe Patch. In the same study, 100% of subjects given the option of completing treatment with or without the Patch chose the Patch.
“When we learned about the DeScribe Patch, we immediately wanted to offer it in our practice. Patients have been asking for years for a better process to remove tattoos that is potentially faster and less expensive than what is currently available,” stated , Dr. Jill Miller . “We hear from many patients that they sometimes choose to keep tattoos they regret because of the discomfort, cost and seemingly endless series of doctor visits they have to endure to have them removed. With the DeScribe Patch, we have a much better solution for current and new tattoo removal patients.”
The DeScribe Patch is integrated into current laser tattoo removal regimens by simply placing the Patch over the tattoo being removed. The Patch is made up of a dual-layer silicone sheet infused with PFD – a completely inert, harmless liquid that allows the tattoo to be treated with the laser several times in a single treatment session. The PFD reduces the scattering of light to help break up ink particles deep within the skin tissue; while the silicone layer of the Patch helps draw away heat from the top layer of skin, resulting in a more comfortable treatment session.
“Our office prides itself on offering treatment options that are best-in-class and that improve our patient outcomes. The DeScribe Patch is an example of one of those treatment options – bringing an entirely new technology together with proven lasers to produce substantially better results. We are proud to be one of the first in the area offering the Patch,” commented Dr. Miller
